I had previously, tentatively (due to health insurance reasons), been diagnosed with having Lupus. Now, if you do a google on Lupus, you will find that there are two forms, external and internal. I was devestated a few years ago with the news that I probably had internal lupus. That's a scary proposition as my antibodies could attack my vital organs. We were under the assumption that it was in my bone marrow, causing a great deal of body pain, but as long as it was contained there I could be ok.
Well, today the conclusion has come down to the fact that even though it is still an auto-immune disease, I only have rheumatoid arthritis. The fact that yes I will remain with body pain, but controllable with other medications, is a bummer....but the knowledge that I no longer have to burden the thought of maybe having an internal organ affected is a God send!
Anyways, I just wanted to share my good news with you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
