psychology exam was great, the topics i love came up so that was fab.

Im shattered now, didn't sleep very well last night, so much going on in my head with exams, summer etc. After exam all my close college friends from the photo and i had lunch on the lawn and sat chatting which was lovey. We are planning a meal out on friday as one of them is off to cyprus where her family are from for the summer.

My mum and Glenn have decided they would quite like a mini break, so are going to fly out with me to Barcelona, meet the family and then i will go off with them and mum and glenn will go to the city, enjoy a few days away etc. It means if there are any issues on the first few days they can come and save me- but i cant see there being any!
I spoke to the mum, Carmen on the phone today, she was so lovely, asked about my exams etc, weve just gotta organise flights really then it is all done.

The funny thing is the parents are German, they went to Spain with the view of staying for a year due to work, and never went back- it has been 10 years since then. So their children were all born in Barcelona and can speak German, Catalan and Spanish. The children are called Pablo, Julia and Marcelo.
Their English isn't great (that is the children- the parents english is brill) but they are young and both Carmen and i believe they will pick it up quickly, luckily my Spanish is okay, and im gonna try learning so more before i leave and obviously while im out there.

Carmen said she would love it if my parents came and had a meal, either lunch or dinner with us sometime while they are out in Barcelona, so either after we land or another day.
She is going to make Paella, she also said while im staying we shall go to tapas restaurants every week to try out things, which sound lovely. I went to Spain once before, but the South, all over the Andalucia region- we saw so many lovely buildings and places so i am hoping to do a bit of this while i am out there.

Yes Deb, i am taking my own laptop with me, as they have wireless out there and therefore it will be easier for me to contact friends and family etc.

It is a shame nobody wants to meet etc. hopefully they will sometime Deb, as that would be nice. But i expect you are all busy too :)

Now i must get my arse into gear too and revise, last exam tomorrow = yayaaaaaay!!!!
