Does your chick crumb contain coccidiostats., i think its called. Basically the chick crumb needst this to prevent chicks from getting coxidiosis.
If it is cocci the best stuff to get is this treatment you put in the their water, my friend had it and it worked well called coxoid. I think its contageious cocci, although not sure, so if its that id treat them all, even if not showing signs.

Im not a big expert on it, but basically it jus makes their immune system bad i think, often chicks will go down hill, stop eating etc. eventually. some chicks manage to over come it too. One big sign of it is blood in poo. And i dont think it affects birds generally over 12 weeks old.

Hopefully it was just a one off, they look like lovely chicks btw.
