After not being out of the country for 8 years or having any type of holiday for over 4 days - we are all going to Crete for a fornight on Tuesday!!!
And I can't wait. I am SO excited I can hardly breathe! lol Will tell you all about it when I get back! So be good while I'm away hee hee xxx |

Oh you lucky lady!! I love Crete and some of my happiest memories are from there. We stayed near Ierapetras and Heraklion (such a long time ago the names have
probably changed!) But I remember that island as being such wonderful colour and hot red sunsets. You will return looking sunburnt and exotic!!

Yes pics please. Did you see the British men dressed as nuns who were arrested in Crete whilst you were there Debs? It was on the news here lol

Oooh no Jo! totally missed that one - they obviously weren't at our hotel lol
Although a couple did get arrested on the plain when we landed in Crete. Rumour was the male was rolling a joint ! Still haven't got pics uploaded as we bought a new camera while we were over there and haven't worked out the ins an outs yet for the software! Thanks for the nice welcome back girls Debs xx |

Well I have finally got them on the computer - but it took SO long - cos the software didn't work - I got so fed up of seeing them lol.
I'm supposed to be sending them off to the folks we met while we were there and haven't even got to do that yet! lol But tomorrow evening after 9 I should have a quiet moment so will do my best to pull some up on to here! (Famous last words! lol - I did go on holiday honest lol) xxx |

It took me an age to add these and some are missing but hopefully you can get some idea of our hols! The first pic is one in front of the olympic pool - there were 7 pools in total but this is the one we stayed around. The second pic is of one of the decorations in the restaraunt made of fruit and veg. The third pic is of the hotel entrance. When we arrived at night it was all lit up like holywood - it was awesome! And the last pic is on the night that we shouldn't have been there as we were supposed to go home the night before!!!! So we are all have been waiting to go home for 24 hours but got the chance of another night! heee Sorry if I'm not totally making sense - I've been to a wake today so a bit off kilter. Debs x |

have grown so much! Debs, you are as radiant as ever. Man I miss you so much! Looks like Mark's skin doesn't like sunshine too much, but dang, the rest
of you are nice and brown!

Yep they certainly have grown haven't they!!! lol
It was actually perfect for the littlies as it was an all inclusive resort - they had entertainment on tap for most of the day. And they got to do far more than we did forever lol We were on a very steep hillside - so us 'adults' didn't do very much at all lol. We went into town Hersonissos on the first day as it was quite cloudy so we could handle the walk - and there was a beautiful village at the top of the hill - that was SO beautiful. What I think of as proper Greece - which we meandered into a few times and had a meal there. It was weird though - because as much as I LOVED that village it made me cry - Everytime I walked away from it I bawled my eyes out!!! - Very bizarre! So for the most part - it was for me and my step daughter - sunning ourselves all day while the kids were either on activities or in the pool, my stepson - was out exploring or taking part in the adult activities and Mark was under shade!!!! Of course the day was interspersed with loads to eat on tap so to speak and drinks ice cream etc. Then on an evening if we didn't go to the village it was 'mini disco' for the kids followed by a show. All out in the open by the pool - fantastic!!! The bar guys really liked us as a family - and so gave us lots of free things that shouldn't have been free (ie cocktails for us ladies!!!). It was wonderful - and I will certainly not be waiting another 8 years before we go again! Debs x |

they thought of flying - lots of fun had by all of you! Dont ever cut your lovely hair will you!!! It really suits you, I cant have long hair cause it looks
too skinny on me!!

How fun that it was an all inclusive stay! It sounds like it was a terrific time for everyone, except for Mark's poor sunburn...lol. I am so happy you got
to go and do that.
I wonder what it was about that little village that begged you not to leave? Maybe you and Mark should look into retiring there??? |
