Bell, how did your son do in the championships?
Lex....ahem....where's our pics?
Cold morning here, very frosty. We had our first 'stay on the ground - for a little while at least' snow yesterday. It was so pretty. The huge flakes were just gently flittering down. I am glad I bought new tires for my car a couple weeks ago. I am curious to see how well they work in the snow and ice. I have an easy day at work today, only 2 cars coming in to clean and none going out (so far that is). Will work on homework this morning then. Classes are still going well. I will be happy when this writing class is over with though! I am getting perfect grades, but there is so much work to do with it, that I just don't like it. I have 2 more general requirements to work through and then the rest of my classes are all psych classes, thank goodness! I am taking my college level algebra this next term and then the last communications class the term after. Still not sure if I am going to be required to have college level chemistry or not...hope not !
Personal life is going alright. Todd and I got in a snit yesterday. Will have to see how he reacts to it to see if we can work through the issue. He owes back taxes, since 2003. He never even filled out his forms, claims he doesn't know how. I told him this would be a breaking point for us, if he didn't take care of his financial responsibilities. He got focused on them and I ended up filling out all the forms for him (5 years worth!) and then all he did for the next two days was complain about how he isn't going to pay them, etc. Even though he said he was thankful I helped him with the forms, the constant complaining sort of wipes out that thanks and turns it more into a slap in the face. So, I got mad and left his house last night. We will see what he does today. My lupus has been doing some very strange stuff lately too. I keep getting this nasty looking skin rash. It doesn't hurt or itch or anything, it just is...all over my arm. But, I have also been on some heavy duty severe cold pills too, so maybe it is just a reaction to that???? Bear, one of the little dogs, has stopped trying to mark his territory inside the apartment finally. I changed my schedule with them and put in a high energy play hour with them after work each day. It seems to have done the trick. His brother Ted, has a head cold with me. He keeps snuffling and sneezing. Poor little guy. Wish they had doggy cold pills to give him. Grizz is doing good. His only issue is, is that he hates Todd's dog. Trying to figure out a way to make those two find common ground. Okies, done rattling on. Must go get my breakfast and get ready for work. Have a beautiful day everyone! |

Deb do you run a car cleaning outfit? ! Ah, snow, I love autumn winter and I expect it looks very pretty (and a good excuse not to have to work outside when it
gets dark early!) Mmmm, lupus, probably the medication you are on....and maybe stress?? Warning bells are sounding re T and the taxes, no excuse for that at
all, and he should be very grateful that you spent all YOUR time on something he could have done!!
Poor son lost tennis, he was so miserable cause he had an awful cough, and furious that he was just pipped cause it was such a close game...I got his wrath afterwards (all my fault cause I didnt give him a water bottle to drink out of!!) Houses are driving me to break out in stress blotches!!! After cleaning last weekend from top to bottom people didnt turn up grrrr. wont rant and rave about it all. But the good thing is green algae has almost gone. Must get on with unloading rugs - had a new shipment which we have been working at the royal country shows and the weather was foul and all the tents and rain got in. Showtime is great but hard work. Alexa yes, want to see you looking glamourous in your new outfit!!!! |

Hi Bell, no it isn't a car cleaning outfit...but it could be looked at it that way partially. I run a rental car agency. So I do end up cleaning them all
the time, but the main base of the business isn't a clean car rather getting it rented out.
So super sorry about son and the loss in the match. It's so deflating to try so hard, get so close, and then have it wisked away. Of course YOU weren't the reason, he just needed someone safe to vent it out to. Oh goody yay you are a safe person? Glad the algae has run it's course and you no longer have to fret over
that.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Lexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx......yooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.......

So, this (very early) morning, at 3:11 ish am, the dogs all went ballistic at the back patio door. I leaped out of bed, as the bark was a lot different than
normal, and it was all of them going full force. I get to the door to see a man running away from the door, leap over the fence and run away.
All I can say is THANK GOD for my dogs! I'm still terrified! I can only expect things to get worse as the holiday season grows closer in this very poor economy. |

Oooh Deb, you poor dear, what a awful expereice that must have been. As you say THANK GOD for the doggies... I wonder if anyone else in your area had any
trouble - do you have any nice neighbours who you can talk to??? I know what its like to live on ones own, try not to worry too much it was probably a one off,
but take all the precautions i.e. mans boots at front door and cell phone by bed. Take care now....XX

Yes, all the neighbor's know now. I have a carving knife by my bed. I wear men's hikers and a man's work jacket during the cold weather to work
outside, and those ARE by the door anyways.
It is going to be a long, sleepless night tonight. |

Oh dear....this is something you just dont need. Maybe you should put away the knife, as things could go horribly wrong with that, unless you have the physique
to deal with self protection. This may sound crazy (and its sure not to happen again) but maybe talking slowly, with suggestions of a cup of tea may be better.
Maybe your new man could come and stay for a bit. Or else get a really fierce canine friend, who will love you dearly, and tear to bits any unwanted visitors.
I wonder who it was and what they wanted?

Well, the police have been out searching for him since that night. I don't know if they got him or not, be we now have such a strong watch set up at the
apartment complex, that I am no longer worried about anyone doing anything to any apartment there. Last night I took the dogs out to go potty for the last
time, and I was really hesitant. The dogs were barking out into the dark in two different directions, which really unnerved me! It turned out to be two of my
neighbors (big burly men) out walking the property. They scared the crap out of me, but offered tons of relief also!

Sorry i havent been around a lot.
and really sorry to hear about your ordeal Deb, sounds really nasty and i hope they catch the guy! It's scary to think people can get into your house, sounds like the dogs did good. Sorry ive been slow on the picture front, i havent been feeling 100% all the time, bit down sometimes because ive had a lot of trouble sleeping. Ive got this cd to try help me sleep tonight that i will give a go. Last week i went to stay with a friend at uni which was good fun and met up with another who was home from uni for the weekend. Bell: I got a lovely tye dye type top, its got oranges, pinks and browns in and a lush fleece which is brown, which i have been religiously wearing on the dog walks- it has been such bad weather here recently. Non stop rain, really heavy and very very strong winds. |

Lex, sounds like you may be going through a light depression hun. Please don't be too hard on yourself for not having all the answers for your life RIGHT
now. Heck darlin, I'm still questioning what I am doing in life. Take some of the pressure off of yourself for a bit. Will finances allow you to do some
volunteer charity work during the holiday season? Sometimes taking some time to focus on someone else's issues and channel your energies to make their life
better, you find your own harmony in the process. ;) Sorry the weather has been nasty. I am sure that isn't helping things either. Make sure you get enough
vitamin D to combate the lack of sunshine.
Remember we love you lots. I will always be your cheerleader ma'lady. You are very special! |

Yes Alexa, dont worry and stress - you are a lovely attractive girl - and will make lots of people happy by just being around them, as Deb says work like
volunteering and helping others really takes your mind off things. Have an awful cough and am fed up with no-one coming to view the house recently (but then
when they do come I stress about them being here!!)...ah we all have our problems dont we!!!

Hey Alexa - just a thought - I have been terrible at sleeping, I go to bed exhausted, sleep really deep until about 2 or 3am, then wake up...cant get back to
sleep - so I take a really good lavender oil (must be 100% pure) and put it on my skin around my temples and on my pillow. And in about 10-15 mins Im asleep
again. Worth a try maybe
